Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 · SiteMCP by Anderseen Digital · sitemcp.net
This Privacy Policy explains what information SiteMCP, operated by Anderseen OU (Estonia), collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. SiteMCP lets you create and run a website, and manage it yourself through a connector URL or through an AI assistant such as Claude. If anything here is unclear, email us.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address
- A one-time login code (we never store a password)
When you create a site, we store the content you or your AI assistant give it:
- Your pages, text, images, navigation, header and footer, and theme settings
- Your business information (name, contact details, hours, and similar), if you add it
- Analytics and tracking IDs you choose to add to your site — for example a Google Analytics (GA4) ID, a Meta Pixel ID, or a Google Tag Manager container ID. These IDs are stored so your site can load them; we do not read the analytics data they collect, which goes directly to your own Google or Meta account
- A connector token, which authenticates requests from your AI assistant to your site
- Any custom domain you connect, and basic DNS information needed to serve it
If you add other admins to a site (see our Terms of Use), their email addresses are stored against that site so they can log in and manage it alongside you.
If you pay for a site, Stripe processes the payment and we store a record of the payment and the resulting valid-until date for that site. We do not store your card details — those are held by Stripe.
How we use your information
- To build, host, and serve the sites you create
- To let you and your AI assistant read and edit your sites through the connector
- To process payments and keep your sites' billing status up to date
- To communicate with you about your account or sites, including login codes and billing receipts
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use your site content to train AI models.
Your site content and backups
Your site content belongs to you. You can export or back up your site's content at any time, and you are free to publish a copy of it on your own server or with another provider — nothing about SiteMCP locks your content in. We recommend taking your own backups periodically, since we do not guarantee any particular backup or recovery service (see our Terms of Use).
Third-party services
Depending on how you use SiteMCP, your data may pass through:
- Stripe — to process payments for site billing
- Anthropic or other AI providers — your AI assistant calls our connector to read and edit your site; we do not share your account email or payment information with the AI provider
- Google, Meta, and similar platforms — only if you add their tracking IDs to your own site, in which case your site's visitors' data flows directly to your own account on those platforms, not through us
- Email and DNS providers — to send login codes and notifications, and to route custom domains you connect
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and site data for as long as your account or site is active. If you delete a site or your account, we remove the associated content and connector tokens. Operational logs are purged on a routine cycle. Because SiteMCP is developed daily, exact retention windows may change as the service evolves; this policy will be updated to reflect that.
Cookies and sessions
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in to the dashboard. We do not place advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on our own dashboard pages. Any tracking pixels you add to your own site are yours to manage and disclose to your own visitors.
Data security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your account and site data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls limiting who can reach production systems. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal data. Email us to exercise these rights. We typically respond within a few business days.
Children
SiteMCP is intended for use by businesses and adults creating their own websites, and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes to this policy
SiteMCP is a small, fast-moving product that we improve and change daily as the underlying AI technology moves fast. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect those changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects when changes were made, and material changes will be communicated to active users by email.
